AQ Health is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Physiotherapist to support aged care clients living in the community across the Southern Highlands region in Batemans Bay. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and delivering meaningful care in home-based settings.

Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you’ll be based on our Batemans Bay office and provide mobile physiotherapy support to elderly Australians and clients with low to high complex needs living independently at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide home visit physiotherapy assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Prescribe equipment and aids to support mobility, safety, and independence
  • Deliver education and manual handling training to clients, carers, and support staff
  • Support reablement, falls prevention, and pain management programs
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

About You:

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Physiotherapy, with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in or understanding of:
    • Equipment prescription
    • Manual handling education and training
    • Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously in community settings
  • Full driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Nice to Have but not mandatory: 

  • Certification in dry needling or western acupuncture
  • APA membership
  • Experience working in aged care, disability, or community settings
